Angela Guzman – Design Lead, Apple, Google, Airbnb, & Pinterest

Angela Guzman is an award-winning UX design lead, entrepreneur, and public speaker based in Silicon Valley. She is best known for co-designing the original set of Apple emoji. Over the last 15 years, she has focused on user experience, interaction, and visual design. She has managed, led, and contributed to design teams at Apple, Google, Airbnb, and Pinterest and was the CEO and founder of a real-time digital educational platform called Tijiko. Angela has over 30 design patents spanning various products from consumer electronics to IoT devices. She holds a BFA and MFA in Industrial and Graphic Design from the Rhode Island School of Design. She has been featured in many national and international publications, including WIRED Magazine, Vogue, the BBC, and TEDx. When not designing, Angela focuses on educating, inspiring, and empowering underrepresented groups in tech.

Tutti Taygerly – Founder, Coach & Author

Tutti Taygerly spent 22 years as a design leader at design firms, startups, and large companies, including Disney and Facebook. In her second career, Tutti coaches and advises cofounders and tech leaders to embrace their unique leadership styles to achieve professional impact and a sustainable company culture. She guides “others” who never felt they belonged in a professional setting — including women, people of color, and immigrants — to share their voices with the world confidently. Tutti's first book, Make Space to Lead, shows high achievers how to reframe their relationship to work. She’s currently bewitched with her second book on leading when you feel like an Other. Tutti grew up in seven countries on three continents and is settled in San Francisco as her home base. She spends time parenting two spirited teen girls, obsessively reading, and paddling out for the next wave.

Julie Topp – Design Leader | Twitch & Co-Founder of Revlo

Julie Topp previously served as a design lead for global payments at Twitch, winner of the “Best UX” award at the Silicon Valley UX Awards in 2023. Julie co-founded Revlo (YC S16), a startup acquired by Twitch/Amazon in 2018. She started her journey as an Entrepreneur in Residence at NEXT Canada, leveraging her B.Des in Industrial Design from OCAD University, seamlessly blending creativity and entrepreneurship throughout her career.

She is a Venture Partner at Pioneer Fund, actively engaging in the YC alumni community. She is based in San Francisco.

Robert Murdock – Design Leader | Found, Stripe, Amazon, Google, & Method

Robert is an accomplished design leader with a rich history of crafting and overseeing innovative digital products. Skilled in transforming nascent ideas into market-valued products and platforms, he has a talent for bridging the gap between craft and business impact. As the Head of Design at Found, Robert aims to simplify and refine financial tools for the self-employed. In his previous role at Stripe, he led the design team during a period of hyper-growth and was responsible for scaling global products like Checkout and Connect. At Amazon, his vision was instrumental in designing and developing groundbreaking products like the Echo Show and Alexa Voice Services. Robert has also held leadership positions at Google X and Method and consistently demonstrated the ability to drive design excellence across emerging technologies.

Josh Richman – Product Design Leader | Meta, Samsung, Dolby, Visa, Varian, & Heartflow

Josh Richman is a design leader, strategist, and pioneer of innovation design principles. As an expert with 20 years of real-world experience designing and launching products, he profoundly understands human factors and research-driven strategies. Crafting elegant design solutions, he strategically aligns user needs with business objectives. He has worked with global companies such as Meta, Samsung, Dolby, Visa, Varian, and Heartflow. With over 14 international design awards, including a Red Dot Award and two iF Awards, you will likely already use or will soon encounter products and services he developed. Josh holds a Master of Science in Industrial Design specializing in Human Factors Research and Strategy and a Philosophy degree from Arizona State University. He is passionate about the potential of design to captivate, inspire, and affect the world. His expertise in design enables him to consistently push the envelope of innovation and design, defining the experiences of tomorrow today.
